Kick off the bootcamp by demystifying the consulting industry and creating space for real-world insights through an interactive discussion. You will gather a clear overview of the consulting field—what consultants do, who the major players are, and how the recruiting process works.

Connect with experienced consultants in small groups to ask questions, hear personal stories, and build confidence through informal networking.
Case Interview Foundations
This session lays the groundwork for the rest of the bootcamp by explaining what case interviews are, the types of cases students will encounter, and the typical structure used to solve them. It will emphasize what interviewers are meant to evaluate and how to approach a case interview with clarity and confidence.

Build a strong foundation in core business concepts and case interview fundamentals. Then, practice your first case in a guided group session, with personalized feedback throughout.

Business Acumen
Participants will learn about how businesses operate as well as common business frameworks used for structuring and solving consulting cases.
How to Structure a Case
In this session you will learn tactics for breaking down ambiguous business problems using logical, MECE (Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive) structures. You will be introduced to issue trees, common frameworks (profitability, market entry, etc.), and how to frame and organize your approach during a case.
Group Case & Feedback
Put theory into practice with a full run-through of a case interview as a group. The facilitator will guide participants through each component of the case, encouraging them to structure their approach, ask clarifying questions, and interpret data collaboratively. The facilitator will provide feedback throughout the session, and the correct solution will be shared at the end to reinforce key learnings.
Wednesday, January 13 | 5–8 p.m. ET | Zoom
Practice brainstorming techniques and tackle real interview prompts focused on exhibit interpretation and case math. Conclude the day by learning how to play the role of a case interviewer, giving you an opportunity to experience the “other side of the table.”

Creativity and Brainstorming Techniques
Many cases require generating ideas or exploring growth options. This module teaches students how to structure their brainstorming and includes a rapid-fire ideation exercise with peer sharing and feedback.
Data Analysis and Interpretation
This module teaches how to extract insights from case exhibits, graphs, and tables. Students will practice identifying trends, drawing comparisons, and turning raw data into client-ready takeaways, building critical skills for both interview success and strong on-the-job performance.
Case Math and Drills
Develop confidence in mental math through structured estimation and financial reasoning exercises. Students learn how to approach market sizing, breakeven calculations, and revenue-cost problems with a clear, verbalized process that demonstrates business thinking under pressure.
How to Deliver a Case
Learn how to deliver compelling case presentations confidently and effectively. The session will conclude with guidance on how to begin delivering cases to others—selecting a case you want to “own,” developing a strong model answer, becoming familiar with the case interview scorecard, and understanding the most common areas of feedback.

Practice a full case interview by delivering and completing a peer-led mock case, with personalized feedback throughout. Learn how to craft compelling behavioral stories and build a consulting-ready resume. Explore the art of storytelling to elevate your fit interview skills to the next level.

This session will provide students with the opportunity to better understand the value of delivering a mock case interview, as well as how to do so effectively.
How to Craft and Tailor Your Resume
Learn how to create a consulting-specific resume that highlights your analytical skills, leadership experiences, and impact-driven results. This session walks through how to tailor your bullet points to what top consulting firms look for, using action verbs, quantifiable outcomes, and the right structure.
Fit Interview and Storytelling
Consulting firms weigh behavioral interviews just as heavily as the case portion. This session teaches students how to craft compelling personal stories using the STAR method, highlight attributes that firms are seeking, and navigate questions such as “Tell me about yourself” and “Why consulting?”.

Elevate your casing with advanced strategies and full-length practice cases with feedback. Wrap up the day by developing a personalized preparation roadmap to guide next steps as you work toward a successful interview and coveted internship or full-time job offer.

Advanced Casing Strategies
This session will explore advanced tactics that differentiate strong candidates. This includes how to prioritize case sections and manage time allocation, refine initial hypothesis throughout the case, and push to second-level insights. This session will also challenge students to “connect the dots” and make recommendations with imperfect or incomplete information.
Small Group Case Breakouts
Students will work in assigned groups to solve a full-length case from start to finish. Each team will be supported by a coach with consulting interview and work experience. Coaches will guide, observe, and provide tailored feedback at the end on structure, communication, and insight generation.
Preparation Planning Session
Students will build a personalized roadmap that they can leverage heading into interview day. This will include how to structure practice, valuable tools to leverage, how to track progress, and when to begin based on recruiting timelines.

College students (sophomore+) and recent grads (2024-2026) from any university. The Tuck Consulting Bootcamp is limited to 50 participants; registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
